Wow! It’s difficult to find the right words to express what Greg and I are feeling right now. As of January 1, 2012, we will no longer air our show, Saving Face with Bob and Greg. We have both come to the conclusion it is the right time for both of us to step away from the mic. His practice, Crossroads Counseling Group, and my practice, WellSpring, are both flourishing. They are calling for more of our time than we are currently able to give.
We have enjoyed working with WRFD, and our times of preparation for the shows were often filled with hilarity. We have been greatly blessed by, and are thankful to Barbasol for being our faithful title sponsor over the past 5 years.
You just cannot ask for a more reputable, family oriented and faith friendly company than Perio (the makers of Barbasol products). They sponsored us, not for the bottom line of a profit margin, but because they believed in Greg and me. We will be forever grateful. Without them, no one would be Saving Face on Saturdays!
To you our faithful listeners and readers, thank you for putting up with our odd ball senses of humor, while we also tried to provide relevant and challenging content which would glorify the Lord Jesus. Some of you endured “…being a loser, just for a moment.” while playing Nada to Win / Nada to Lose. We were blessed to have excellent guests: local and national authors; pastors; folks who were in the trenches with youth ministry; psychological experts; sports figures; and many more. We had wonderful callers who added their two cents, and sometimes they even gave us two bits worth!
All of this to say, we are so very grateful for your support and encouragement of this ministry. Stay ‘tuned in’ on line as we hope to maintain our blog with more informative topics.
